The claims are located on the south western side of the Bulkley River, approximately 18 kilometres north of Smithers.
The area is underlain by Lower Cretaceous Skeena Group sediments (Kitsun Creek Formation). They consist mainly of fine-grained greywacke, shales and polymictic conglomerate which strike east and dip moderately north. Mineralization is related to the Late Eocene Goosly Lake Intrusion which is comprised of quartz-monzonite porphyry.
The sediments are crosscut by quartz and quartz-siderite veins and veinlets hosting sphalerite, galena, jamesonite, tetrahedrite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite.
Samples from the old workings assayed 0.1 gram per tonne gold, 415.5 grams per tonne silver, 31.6 per cent zinc, 12.12 per cent lead and 0.12 per cent copper (Assessment Report 13843). Previous sampling of dump material returned up to 1.0 gram per tonne gold, 5,526 grams per tonne silver, 22.1 per cent lead, 13.9 per zinc and 1.6 per cent copper (Property File: Sharp, 1970).
In 2011, Golden Tiger carried out a program that consisted of MMI soil sampling with the purpose of detailing the known anomalies, 10 line-kilometers of IP/resistivity surveying, 25 line-kilometers of magnetic surveying, and a six-day geological mapping program. Most of this work was carried out on the Reiseter grid (093L 134 and 136), but a small amount of sampling was done on the Bulkley grid in order to locate a historical zinc anomaly. The Bulkley grid consisted of 164 samples over 4 lines. The soil sampling over the Bulkley Grid resulted in anomalous results mainly in copper and zinc.
See Reiseter 4 (093L 134) for related information.
